Join us as we celebrate Go Green ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø, our Festival of Sustainability, taking place from 9 to 22 March.

Across two weeks, you can take part in a wide range of workshops, talks, wellbeing activities and nature experiences that connect you with people, place and planet.

From climate cafés, sustainable careers sessions and bike repair drop-ins, to creative workshops, film screenings and guided walks around campus and Peel Park, there’s something for everyone. Whether you want to learn new skills, explore sustainability in practice, connect with the local community, or simply spend some time outdoors, you’ll find plenty of ways to get involved.

We welcome students, colleagues and local community members to take part. Explore the current programme below and see how you can get involved in creating positive change. You can also explore all the green career support offered by our Careers Team throughout Go Green ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø.

Small mammal monitoring

Join small mammal expert Tony Parker for a hands-on workshop on mammal monitoring and identification. Learn how to survey and identify small mammals, set live traps in the evening, and check them the following morning. Any animals caught will be identified, recorded, and safely released back where they were found.
